The Archive has been created with a twofold aim:
(i) to preserve and keep memory of the past;
(ii) to stimulate hope in the future will of reconstruction.
Its major objective is therefore to collect Somali materials and offer them to interested readers through the net, so as to become a benchmark in this respect and operate as a centre of diffusion for additional materials on Somalia which might be offered to the world’s interest in the future. In particular, the Archive allows for the online consultation and the free downloading of all document materials and files contained in it.
